1.7. Digital competence for educators
Digital competence is one of the priority axes of the master’s and the Practicum. According to the Reference Framework for digital teaching competence, the digital competence for educators includes six areas of development: professional commitment, digital content, teaching and learning, assessment and feedback, student empowerments, and the development of students’ digital competence.
Within the context of the Practicum, students develop and apply the knowledge and skills related to the use of technologies in the development of their teaching skills. They also engage in the didactic and methodological uses of these technologies, which involve designing innovative teaching proposals in the field of teaching and learning, with the goal of fostering students’ digital competence.
