4.3. The Practicum and the Master’s Final Thesis
Although the Practicum and the MFP (Master’s Final Thesis) are two different courses, with their own timetables and training schedules, it is highly beneficial for students to use the practical training period to explore potential questions, topics, or educational issues related to their specialty, which they may have identified during this period and can subsequently delve into for their master’s thesis. Based on the needs or problems identified throughout the three phases of the Practicum, students can, for example, formulate possible research questions that can aid them in defining the research problem more precisely with the guidance of the thesis supervisor.
Addressing and developing research questions during the Practicum allows students to design and develop a Master’s thesis aimed at answering them. Students can write their thoughts on these questions in challenge 4.
