The exercise of the reflexive <em>habitus<\/em>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Practicum is the space in which future teachers begin to develop the habit of reflecting on their professional practice.<\/p>\n<p>Pierre Bourdieu defines <em>habitus<\/em> as &#8220;a small set of schemata that allows an infinity of practices adapted to ever-renewing situations, without ever constituting explicit principles&#8221; (Bourdieu, 1973, p. 209). For Bourdieu, <em>habitus<\/em> is our system of thought structures, perception, evaluation and action, the generative grammar of our practices (Perrenoud, 2004, p. 13).<\/p>\n<p>The positive habit that the future teachers must apply throughout the Practicum allows the development of a system of schemes that transfer, ground and guide future ways of thinking, of evaluating the situations that arise in the teaching practice.<\/p>\n<div class=\"featured featured-blue\"><p>The students start the <span style=\"font-style: normal !msorm;\"><em>habitus<\/em><\/span> of thinking through the process of writing the reflective practice journal during the course.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Practicum is the space in which future teachers begin to develop the habit of reflecting on their professional practice.
